SouthOfHeavenStudioShot

The Northwest Georgia Music Hour and 95.7 The Ridge FM were thankful to kick off the Thanksgiving holiday with a visit from South of Heaven. These guys are a young group of enthusiastic players with their heart in the art of classic Southern rock. Usually on stage they are cranked all the way up but we enjoyed an impressive acoustic set on Wednesday, as well as a laid back conversation with Matt D and Stu. Here’s what we heard.

Jamie Reynolds – Yellow Jacket Friday Night
Muletide Perkins – Leftovers
South of Heaven – Southern Rock Revival
South of Heaven – Reasons (live)
South of Heaven – Victim of Love (live)
South of Heaven – Steady Hand (live)
South of Heaven – On the Hunt (live)

Listen now on the MullinsMania Radio Archives. Thanks to my cousin Roy at Mullinsnet for making that possible!

Stephens’ Music Company has sponsored every episode of The NWGA Music Hour and that’s extremely awesome, so if you like fostering your local music scene it, shop local first. Stephens’ has gift certificates too and there are zero musicians who would not appreciate that. Thanks to everyone who cares, and if you read this far, you do.
